EARTH
TRUST
OXFORD

The concept was to develop a Sensory Garden for everyone who visited the site to use. The Earth Trust wanted to encourage the understanding of where food came from and we were asked to create a garden that was wheelchair friendly, catered to sensory difficulties and was ecologically pertinent.

What we eventually proposed to the Charity was a series of rooms where the children could participate in a variety of activities, ranging from growing to weather watching, areas to view wildlife and pond dip.

All of these rooms would be created with colourful, wheelchair friendly and sensory materials to allow sensory impaired children to explore their enviroment too.

The project was shelved due to budget constraints and has only now in 2020 been resurrected. We are proud that many of our proposed interventions will now be realised.
